The majestic Sea Lions are natural sand-dwellers and are often seen at Natures Wonders as well as the occasional Leopard Seal, Elephant Seal, Orcas and other species of marine life.
The birdlife around Natures Wonders include, Oyster Catchers, Kingfishers, Black Back Gulls, as well as the occasional Pukeko feeding around the tussocks, Hawks flying overhead, and the occasional Albatross that can be seen souring around the Southlight area of the farm.
